Pastor Mike is the founder of the Aguanga Christian Fellowship, where he has been serving for 20 years as the senior pastor. He graduated from Point Loma Nazarene University in 1978, and has served in Escondido as Associate Senior Pastor in the First Christian Church, and was the Founding Pastor for Grace Bible Study Fellowship. Pastor Mike has also served in various street and prison ministries, making it a priority in his life to teach and listen in order to help others around him.
Oscar,an elder in the church, is responsible for greeting the congregation as they arrive as well as the announcements portion of the service. He has been married to Norma for 13 wonderful years. They have 2 children (a son and a daughter) and six grandkids (three boys and three girls). When he has spare time, Oscar enjoys riding motorcycles, playing golf and spending time with his family. We are grateful to have him as a valuable member of our church body.

Julie has been the women's leader for the church for several years. She has organized countless women's retreats, bible studies, and fun outings; providing the women of the church with times of fellowship and fun. In addition to her church ministries, she teaches preschool in Escondido and has a daughter named Ashley. We are grateful to have her as a valuable member of our church body.
As koinonia leader, Denese ensures there is enough food for all church events; she coordinates any contributions/volunteers to ensure a relaxing time of fellowship. Denese has lived in Aguanga since 1992. On her time off, she enjoys cooking, swimming and 'playing' in the yard and having BBQ's. She is married, has a total of 7 kids (2 sets of identical twins) and 7 grandkids. We are grateful to have Denese as part of our church body.
